 Oily Rags
With landfill sites no longer accepting hydro-carbon wastes (oil contaminated) such as oily rags and soak up pads, the only other route for disposal is incineration, a very costly exercise both for the customer and to the environment. Bearing this in mind, we have embarked on a rag washing and drying system using state of the art machines that enables us to decontaminate the rags and repackage them as wiping cloths to pass back to our customers at a much more preferred rate than what they are currently paying. All the waste oily contaminated water that is produced as a by product of this system is recycled by us so we have gained an industry recognised total recycling solution.
 Waste Plastics
More and more of our customers, especially on the garage waste side of our activities are requesting us to take away old bumpers and empty oil containers, being either plastic or metal. Once again we have recognised that these are potentially expensive waste streams for our customers to deal with so we have therefore invested in a shredding and granulation system to take these wastes into the full recycling circle.
The eventual end product is plastic granules re-circulated back to the plastics industry. Significant cost savings are achieved and passed on to our customers as we handle the waste from the moment we collect it and finally dispatch the granules. We will take non-hazardous plastics as well as contaminated items.
Confidential Destruction of Products
Many companies who produce consumables and products variably have the need for their product ranges to be destroyed, under such circumstances as product recall, near end of shelf life and changing over to new product lines. The need for destruction gives peace of mind that their products do not re-enter sales outlets and appear on a car boot sale! We have developed a secure destruction system that not only crushes items beyond recognition but also shreds the remains into minute pieces. The whole process is monitored and recorded by CCTV as proof of destruction and also for security needs. We already destroy the likes of counterfeit goods such as DVD’s, CD’s and videos as well as offering this service to the drinks and food industries, the service is also available for cosmetics and other consumables.
